Accessories News: Dior Fine Jewelry

Dior Joallerie unveiled its latest high jewelry collection by creative director, Victoire de Castellane, at the Dior Atelier during Paris Fashion Week in March. The collection called ‘Bois de Rose’ is inspired by both Victoire’s love of the fairytale Sleeping Beauty, and, by Christian Dior’s fabled love of flowers and gardening. The collection consists of single band rings and hoop earrings in a literally rendered thorn motif, as well as oversized floral rings in colored pavés. The thorn pieces are available in three options of gold: yellow, white, and rose, and come with or without diamonds. We love the idea of the bands stacked in a tri-gold format, we also love the idea of Dior fine jewelry at a price point: The solid gold versions of the thorn retail for under $1000. The collection delivers to Dior Boutiques this June.

Accessories News: Fabergé New High Jewelry Collection

Fabergé’s new high jewelry collection is composed of one-of-a-kind pieces that offer a modern spin on the technical mastery of the classic Fabergé repertoire.

Artistic jeweler Frédéric Zaavy designed the new collection of pieces for the centuries-old Russian house. He follows in the spirit of technical perfection and stylistic heritage that defined the House founder, Peter Carl Fabergé’s, original works. The net result, truly covetable pieces that are equal parts eye candy and work of art.

Accessories News: Auden Jewelry

Designer Bryce Castaneda and business partner Steven Gordon cite tribeswomen, space, and architecture as the inspiration behind their new jewelry line, Auden. Castaneda’s neo-classic aesthetic is informed by “the idea of a modern day urban Amazon, fashionably fearless!”

The collection launched late last year in LA at Fred Segal, with operations recently moving bicoastal after Henri Bendel picked up the full collection this Spring; a partnership that’s proven to be a perfect fit. After selling out of their lariat necklace style in two days, Bendel’s announced they are giving Auden the storefront windows next month. ‘At this rate’, explains Castaneda, ‘I am working around the clock to fulfill the orders. We are shocked at the response”.
